Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy describes how refunds are handled for purchases made on Cobain AI. Payments and billing for the Service are processed through our third-party payment providers (such as Tripay and PayPal). We aim to handle refund requests fairly and in a consumer-friendly manner.

2. Subscriptions

For new subscription purchases, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. Where applicable law grants you a cooling-off period or other statutory refund rights, those rights apply in addition to this guarantee. Renewal payments may be refundable at our discretion, typically where the renewal was unintended and the renewed period has not been substantially used. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel your subscription before the renewal date.

3. Token Credits & Consumed Usage

Token credits are digital, consumable items used to access AI tools. Credits that have already been used to generate outputs are considered consumed and are generally non-refundable. Unused token credits may be considered for a refund at our discretion, depending on the circumstances and the time elapsed since purchase. Because AI generations incur real processing costs the moment they are produced, we are unable to refund usage that has already been delivered.

4. Eligibility & Exceptions

Refunds may not be available in the following situations:

  • Where the applicable refund window described above has passed;
  • For token credits or generations that have already been consumed;
  • Where there is evidence of fraud, abuse, or violation of our Terms of Service;
  • For purchases expressly marked as non-refundable at the point of sale.

Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us at support@cobain.ai with your order or receipt details. Please include the email address used for the purchase and a brief description of your reason for the request, which helps us process it quickly.

6. Processing Time

Once a refund is approved, we will process it to your original payment method via our payment provider. Refunds are typically completed within 5–10 business days, although the exact timing depends on your bank or payment provider.

7. Chargebacks

If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first so we can help resolve it. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated. We are happy to work with you to reach a fair resolution.
